It's amazing how my current donation pile really talks to my history. In it are my old photography supplies from school, pieces from burlesque costumes that are suitable for others to wear, i.e. no panties or beat up rigged embellished bras, and maternity clothing that isn't worth trying to sell.

I think I'm going to go shopping. I need some clothes that fit that I didn't wear while pregnant. I'm tired of feeling frumpy and I need something cute to wear to a baby shower on Sunday. I'm having a hard time justifying the spending to myself because I will lose all this weight again.

But I need to live in the body I have right now.

I can't write my birth story. I'm having a really hard time processing it still and I feel like I might even have some PTSD from it. Theo's birth and the whole end of my pregnancy was really traumatic. ( So here's a run down. )

I will post a better update later with pictures and all but in the meantime. .
Theodore Joseph was born on 1/12/11 @ 5:35 pm. 7 pounds 5 ounces 19 1/2" long. He is perfect and we were able to come home right away!

I never thought that I'd be the woman with the complicated pregnancies. I haven't ever had any real health problems, my family is extremely fertile, look at us sideways and we get pregnant, and I too had no problems getting pregnant either time ( Read more... )

Last night, after having my BP readings stay the same for the 11th day and having my labs come back perfectly fine, Peter and I decided to talk to the Dr about monitoring me at home.
