From the time that she got up at seven, until right now, everyone had been asking her how she was, if she was okay, did she need anything. God she wasn't going to snap into pieces, she wasn't breakable, damn it. Yet everyone thought that she was just a weak little girl,

"You've got that right." DG replied, mostly about the well intentioned ass part. He was smothering the crap out of her, but it was because he cared. Her head lifted from the table as she glanced towards Jason and offered a nod. "I know, but I'm tired of it and he just doesn't seem to get that."
Glancing at him for a moment, a sigh escaped her, she knew that he was right. No matter how well she didn't let it effect her it was going to hit, and it was going to hit her hard no matter how long it hit.
Smirking partially at that she shrugged, "I don't think he'd respond well to violence." Telling him she was fine, didn't seem to be doing the trick though. With a groan she reached forward and took his coffee mug, taking a drink of it before sliding it back where it was, letting her head hit the table again. "This is so frustrating."

"Poor Dave. You can always use your best friend to threaten people." With that she pointed at herself, "I can be scary, you know." Maybe possibly if she could learn how to use her damned magic.
With a slight eye-roll she glanced over towards Jason, "He can be. He's just doing his job, especially since Cain came down on all the guards pretty hard, I heard."

Dave's outburst as he realized he had been duped made her grin, "Cain outsmart you Dave?" Oh that was funny, but she wasn't going to laugh, at least not in front of him, he was clearly thinking. Probably wanting to figure out a way to get him back.
"A day off can usually help," With a nod her eyes turned towards Jason who simply gave a nod of his head with the same bored expression that he always wore. He needed a vacation. All of her guards did.
"I think I'm going to go do my lessons to shove it in peoples faces that I'm okay, and then I think I'll go pounce on Cain when I see him." Sounded like an idea to her.

That could wait until Cain wasn't in crisis mode.
"Well, you could always have Jace carry a sign emblazoned with 'She's fine, shut up.' on it." Dave smirked. "In his non-gun hand, of course."
Narrowed eyes from the guard. Dave smirked.
"But pouncing Cain seems like a good idea. If you can find him. He's worried about the caravan coming to the infirmary later today, and he'll be at it most of the night, I bet. So when you do pounce, A - his defenses will be low from exhaustion, and B- he'll really, really need the stress relief."
