even though i don't know you too well, you seem like a really sweet girl. the poems on your journal lead me to think that you have gone through a lot of hard things in your life. you have obviously overcome them, and that's wonderful. hopefully i will get to know you better so that we can become better friends :]

i've gotten to know you a lot over the years with the carpool and all, but i know that there is still a lot that i don't know about you. you know, you and i are very alike in some aspects. we both tend to keep a lot of things to ourselves... not that its a bad thing, but just an observation. i'm not so sure where i'm going with that thought, but whatever.
back to what i was initially supposed to do: tell you how wonderful, sweet, funny, and gorgeous you are. seriously shannean, you are all these things plus more. i really wish you would realize that more often. you always seem to make me laugh when i need some cheering up. i value our friendship so much. you > a lot of my other friends. you're awesome.

retreat buddy/other half of "live the 4th" haha. what would i do without you and your mad rhyming skillzZzZzZ? you make me laugh, without even trying. you are always so confident in yourself and in everything you do. that confidence something that i admire and that i wish i had more of. you have gone through a lot over the summer... but you don't dwell on what happened. you've learned from it and you have grown stronger. that is such a good quality to have. you are seriously an amazing person and i am really happy that we're friends. you know i'm always here for you anytime you need me :)

for such a young person, it seems like you have gone through a lot in your life. just remember that sometimes we need to go through hardships in order for us to grow and become better people. you're a beautiful girl and dont let anyone tell you diffently.

we aren't really that close and yet i've had you on my friends list for a long time. it's partly my fault though. i get really busy and forget to comment on my friends journals a lot of the time. you seems like a fun person girl and hopefully in the future we can get to know each other better.
