A number 3 for me?

Might be.  Not planned.  Very mixed feelings.  Feelings all over the place.  Up and down, happy and sad and scared.  And a bit crazy ( Read more... )

Aw congrats hun, my second was a "whoopsie" only 7 months after having my first. Took a while to get my head round it... I hope you don't get too sick this time, fwiw my sickness got less the more children I had. I was ill every day sometimes more than once until over 24 weeks with Ez but was only sick three times with Ava.

If this pregnancy sticks (still can't believe it in my mind), I am so so so hoping that I follow in your footsteps and don't really get sick this time. The memory of the constant, debilitating nausea and all the vomiting my last pregnancy still makes me shudder... I don't know how I would handle a repeat experience-- this time with TWO kids to manage, a bigger house that is always in a state of chaos, and having just returned to work a couple months ago. Feels like I would have to stretch far too thin to manage significant pregnancy sickness this time... So I am so hopeful that I won't have to. But whatever comes, I WILL find a way to manage. I know that the end result will be worth it...

Thank you so much. Now that I'm here (5 weeks tomorrow), I really don't want to have to go through another loss...

Such sweet unexpected news. I'm truly happy for you. Try not to worry too much. Number 3 has been such an absolute joy to us, despite the fear I felt at adding another child to our family (one that Dario was dead set against having). She's been a perfect addition, and I'm sure your little one will be too.

awww, thanks. Trying to squelch the worries and have faith that all will turn out as it is meant to be. I had *just* made peace with the fact that our family was completed and that I was officially done with pregnancy and babies. That was only last month that I came to that place. And now this-- has me reeling a bit, and Kyle a LOT, as he has ALWAYS said that 2 was our max. He loves our kids very much but is quite challenged by the chaos and craziness that little people inevitably bring to a household. However, if this #3 does come earth-side in nine months, I know that we will both adapt quickly and will love him/her every bit as much as our current two ( ... )

Look what happens when you come to peace and get rid of your stuff! I've always heard cleaning out the closets is a sure way to end up here... Happens to so many people :p

What is your next step? Will you have early appts and US?
