Storm Damage
I don't recall ever having storm damage before. As I went to my car this morning, I noticed that the palo verde tree was leaning. It had been standing up straight when I returned from the store yesterday. Looks like it took a real beating from the wind yesterday - I sure hope it makes it through. Such a good "fly" weekend
I had, by far, one of the most relaxing and enjoyable AND PRODUCTIVE weekends I've had in a very long time this past weekend. I had a production meeting for my documentary, I shopped, I cleaned, I cooked, I did tons of laundry, and yet a watched TV, surfed the net, spent time with Anya, and took a nap or two. Yet more progress
Have managed to tackle dish and laundry tasks early. The kitchen is almost back to where it should be on a regular basis. Family room is about 80% there. Debating about bringing the kitchen table back into the kitchen (I've had it in the living room since a party eons ago ( Read more... ) -
"New House" in the New Year
Finally now that I have some of the pressure off my back about my job, and now that the baby is bigger and slightly more independent, I am finally reclaiming my house again. Long Overdue Update
It has been almost 2 1/2 years since Hubby and I moved into this house. This week, I put up the very first curtains, bought from IKEA with money and giftcards I received for my birthday. ANTS!!!
I friggin' HATE them!!! I can't for the life of me figure out just how they are getting in the house. I mean, after all, our house is fairly new. Cracks and crevices should be pretty small. Toilet Problems
As if it wasn't an inconvenience already that our master bath toilet is still out (I've got the parts to fix it...just too pregnant to fit under there to get the nut off the toilet tank and finish the job), but now, our downstairs toilet has backed up.
