I happened upon a review of Chronicles of Riddick from the Oakland Press, which is quite amusing - I trust even for those among you who like the film, which I do - and the last few paragraphs had me in a giggle fit:

That is so true - the LOTR bit, I mean. I haven't seen Riddick, but it is on my to-do list! Glad you liked in anyway.:)

It's fun when you're after pure action entertainment. Karl manages to look hot despite the silly hairstyle (OK, the eyeliner helps... *fans self), and I liked Alexa Davalos who plays Jack/Kyra - quite cat-like. :) I haven't seen Pitch Black yet - will have to catch up on that sometime.
