Mmm, yarn porn. I've been therapy knitting, too. And therapy baking, but it's far more transient. I love the Wisdom Yarn colorway. It's so cheerful! And the String Theory website is dangerous, especially since I'm on a yarn moratorium until I knit some more things.
I have this pattern in my Ravelry queue. I want to try it in Crystal Palace's Mochi Plus yarn. I've never worked with that yarn before and am hoping it will turn out splendidly.
This... is probably a really stupid question (new to knitting, never used circular needles) but if you have 20 stitches on the needles and only knit 8 (or whatever) what happens to the other 12 stitches?
Just asking because I'd love to try this, I'm just staring at the pattern in confusion. >.>
You start at the beginning of the row, knit only eight stitches, then turn the work around and knit back to the edge again, where you started. Then you turn it again and do the same with 6 stitches, then four, then knit all the way across and start all over again with eight stitches. Does that help?
Unfortunately, not really. *laughs* Maybe if I had it in front of me it would be clearer. /not a very visual person
I suppose I'm just trying to figure out how the stitches not being worked on... work. It's not like they're being put on a stitch holder or anything to keep them out of the way.

What lace scarf are you making? Is it on Rav?

It's fun, but you really have to pay attention.

Thank you for the reply, though. <3
