Very off topic, but myself and megpie205 are planning our convention schedule for 2010, any idea what conventions you'll be appearing at? ~_^

So far, only ConBust at Smith College is a definite, but I'll keep you informed.

We both very much appreciate it ^_^ we're both waiting to premier our Tamir and Brother costumes until we can get ourselves to a convention you'll be at.

Good interview!

When you get a notebook to fill out with notes and ideas, what kind do you use? A small journal like you would find in the checkout counter of a bookstore, or a big 120 sheet 3 subject behemoth?

Is the info on C Squared Pictures current? You called the project a mini-series which, truthfully, I would prefer over a movie. More hours of wonderful characters. ^_^

Pantser! How funny to think you're just making a little colourful naming convention and then...

Thanks for sharing that. And I think you're right about sticking with it--my library is *finally* buying the first 3 of the Nightrunner series!

Then the third book happens smack in the middle of their country and practically every darn character needed one of these long complicated names. It was quite a challenge, and an unforeseen one when I started the series. One of the hazards of being a pantser.

This comment made my day! XD I take it, then, that you originally had no plans to set later storylines in Aurenfaie? I find that interesting, considering how important it's become to the series by this point. I don't envy having to come up with a whole range of those unforeseen lengthy names and then keep them all straight (possibly where the notebooks come in handy...) - although I do love the sound of Aurenfaie words, so I think you did an excellent job of it. ^_^

Thanks for posting this - it was an interesting itnerview!

Wow.

I don't write to publish. I generally write stories just to share with my friends and for backgrounds for D&D games. The funny thing is my "outline" process is similar. You've got me wondering if I could write something novel length with it now...
