Our 51st State and the SS Football Team

I love the Bugle.  If I ever need cheering up (which I do today since I learned that I didn't pass the test... which I guess is fine because I didn't study and I didn't have much incentive to pass this time around anyway.... *le sigh*) then the surest way to put me in a good mood are two extremely sarcastic British comedians commentating on the ( Read more... )

Yeah, but "the exclusive property of the United States, except for Great Britain" just doesn't pack the same anti-war punch.

True, but the last thing we need right now are self-fulfilling prophecies. ^^;

Yep, fairly obvious that Rolling Stones doesn't do current events all that often. Or that it has a firm grasp on international relations and foreign political systems.
It is true though that many Americans will simply assume that the President of a country is the one that's actually running the government. ^__^ Though I don't know if the Rolling Stones purposefully ignored that fact or if they themselves haven't a clue.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T PASS THE TEST. Aww hell. *hugs*

At least now you'll be a super!expert and definitely kick its ass next time around! <3

... why is there not fandom wank for making Britain our 51st state? :'D That's amazing.

Also, Germany's black kits are boss. They're obviously super effective against Argentina.

Eh, yeah no. The test's a little bit like a trivia Russian Roulette, you're never sure what you're going to get. ^^;

Also, OMFG, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mainly I object due to this fill on the Kink Meme. o____o It literally tore my heart out, smashed it repeatedly against the wall, stomped on it, then shot it up with a mini, while I spent the night inconsolably bawling. It was baaad, it was so, so baaaad. T___T I'm already tearing up again just thinking about it.

Indeed, although PAUL THE OCTOPUS says that Germany's going to lose against Spain! *le gasp* And we all know Paul the Octopus is never wrong.

Aw seriously? What exactly is on it, anyway? It sounds really, really intense.

Dude, that fill was sad. =( I didn't really have the same reaction you did, but it was still sad. I usually avoid fills like that. I don't like angst that much unless it has a happy ending, haha.

I KNOW, RIGHT? I'm having a really, really serious emotional crisis. I love Germany. They deserve this win more than anything. They really, truly do. But I love Spain. I love them. And I will be fucking heartbroken if they lose. But then I'll also be crippled with guilt if they win because I know that Germany deserves it more and I love Germany.

... in the end, I think I'm just going to throw up then go out and find a restaurant the serves octopus.

Haha, okay maybe it wasn't quite as extreme as I was describing, but I was definitely crying, going: "WTF?!?! WHY~?! Why did you DO THAT???" Then Brooklyn Rage, must kill something dead NAO.

...I suggest Japanese. Their takoyaki is delicious. :D
