You know I absolutely love the Ned/Olive one, and the other two are just great as well! They're all so SAD though. You really broke my heart with these.
Thank you! I'm really glad that people like the Angela/Zack one -- I've been watching Bones since season one, but I've never written it before. I'd never really considered the pairing, either. So, yeah.
On "Softness." Ugh. Beautiful. I've only seen through season 2 so I know not of this great evil you speak of, but . . . but THIS. YES. The very first bones fanfic I've let myself read (the summary drew me in) and it's beautifully worded, wonderfully . . . YES. the imagery, the . . . the whole thing has a soft feel to it, which is perfectly in line with the title and theme, and just . . . ugh.
Oh my God, thank you so much! This is one of the sweetest comments I've ever gotten. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it so much, especially considering that it's your first read in this fandom.
Love the himym. Hi-lar-i-ous. Well, yes, and sad and wrong too (and hot), but mostly hilarious.
>"It didn't matter that poison ivy had a husband who'd kick the shit out of him if he scratched, or that it'd ruin any chance he'd have with a plant (skin rash? Analogies sucked) that he was actually in love with, or that this'd only prove that he had to scratch anything with a skirt."
<3 literary humor--so much win
>"Lily's hands were on his shoulders, pressing him into the mattress, leaving her breasts more or less at eye level. Which was awesome, of course, but distracting when you're desperately trying to justify sleeping with your friend's wife."
Thank you! I did want it to be humorous -- I mean, I wanted it to be wrong and sad and sexy, as well, but also funny. So glad someone picked up on that. Glad you enjoyed it!
