28 hours toward my 40 for Private Pilot license. Written exam passed, cross-country flights started. By the way... at night? It's frelling dark! Just sayin. So, ahead in the plan: a whole lotta flyin to satisfy various minimum hour and experience requirements, then a checkride. Then a license. Then I'll be able to carry passengers legally. Approximately 5.016 acres, more or less.

(No, realli! Thats how they refer to it in all the paperwork! Guess they wanna cover their butts over that 21.78 square feet, plus or minus.)

The part I'm buying is... and you'll appreciate this... the Sou'west corner. Picture the wooded part west of T&C's house. That part, from the O'leno fence to a few dozens of yards north of the access trail where the powerlines are (which is east-west even with Matt's Auto Zombie.)

As for how she is.... uh... dunno. Haven't heard much lately. Could mean she's waaay waaay busy with chef internship at some remote and exotic location far from home and computer, or it could just mean that i've fallen off her radar for a season or three. *shrug*
