I just got home from Happy Valley, and I'm very unhappy.
I now have a cold.
And I just got a letter from Cincinnati saying that I have not been accepted to the UC/College Conservatory of Music program.
However...
"Reunion...'Fo Real" has been nominated for "Best Crack Fic" for the heroes_slash awards!

Audition Update: Penn State
Well, I'm in State College, PA, (AKA Happy Valley) and I'm not too happy.
General info
-- 60 people auditioned
-- We got to meet a lot of the faculty
So they taught us a ballet routine first. I haven't done ballet since I was nice years old. Needless to say, even though I got the concept of the movements, I did about 60% of the dance wrong. ( Read more... ) -

I'm back! And very sore! But very proud of myself! Here's how it went down....
General info:
--- 65 people there
--- My family got lost on the way to check in. So we were late. Perfect way to start a day that determines my future.
--- I was the only black girl, but I shouldn't have been surprised. There was one other black guy.

I'm in Ohio, in January, and it's 68 degrees outside. Weird.
My career center teacher is a member of the Screen Actors' Guild, so he let the class vote on his ballot. So I will have contributed to the SAG Awards! Whee!
But here's the most important thing:
