BOOKS! This was supposed to be shorter... but I just kept having more to say!

I just realized that in a previous post I neglected to mention that Carrie got me three volumes from the Samurai Deeper Kyo manga series which I'm in the middle of, but haven't kept up-to-date with in a while. I'm actually quite pleased to have received those so that I can read several volumes at once, for a more satisfying experience! =D Thanks

I've been re-reading Sword of Truth too... and stopped at the same place for the same reason (that's all I own in paperback and I'm too lazy to go to the book store). I didn't know that Pillars of Creation was a side-story- AUGH LAME.

Either way I'm excited beyond belief for this Saturday's episode of Legend of the Seeker and I realize that makes me a huge nerd- but the Mord-Sith were my favorite part of those books. D:

Well, I don't know if the publishers or the author called it a side story as it does provide information that progresses the plot -- introduces a character and society that plays a role in the following books. BUT. If you read a good summary of the book, plus maybe the last chapter, you should be good for the rest of the series.

UGH. I call that a side-story.

I've been waiting for this episode! I haven't seen the last 2 or 3, though they're on my DVR. Anything really good happen? Or should I just skip to the Mord-Sith episode? OMG, Mord-Sith are HOT and AWESOME. I hope they do them justice!

Yeah, I'll definitely be here for the Sakura Matsuri. First weekend of May, right? Are you guys staying over our place or just visiting for the day? You should stay over!

I'll try to actually watch the ep this weekend... we'll see how it goes. ^^
