Everything is in the ground now--except for four bearded iris, which I didn't have room for, and which I'll pot up and overwinter indoors, maybe in the garage. A good sandy loam and regular watering should do them fine. The fritillarias looked shriveled and hollow; I wonder if they'll bloom, or even sprout.
