Just when I think I'm starting to get the hang of this place... two of my housemates get attacked. I must confess, I'm at a loss to explain this rationally. But then again, what else is new

Yes, he's a criminal from my world. I also fell against him a few days ago. I'm sorry that he attacked anyone following it if it's a result of frustration from a few days before, however. I'm attempting to sort out a solution for this...

The sientists have put up a charade for their own military, Ryuuzaki-san, pretending to hold monthly meetings with us. The military was cut off from the network and unable to see that this was not the case and our living conditions were far worse than they had been informed.
If I may suggest this ... A few of us would like one of those meetings to be actually held. It would help if other people called out to the scientists as well, asking for it.
Only that, essentially, if someone insists on making a mess, they should clean it up, or, at the very least, practice a bit of elementary damage control.
That is true, but I'm not sure if it's the right decision. They have no authority here; the whole community, or rather inhabitants, are divided enough.
The thing is, very few have any authority in their own world that people here will recognize, and I don't think anyone is universally accepted as being a good leader. Further, we don't have laws or consequences.
But I do agree that it would be nice if the helpless had some recourse.
I've discovered that thing about authority rather quickly. It's a shame... but the laws and consequences issue should be addressed, and soon. I'm not one for dictatorships and I stay out of government affairs as much as possible, but it's ridiculous to run society this chaotically.
I'd like to start compiling a list of the strongest who can keep those who would do harm under control. What do you think?
No... you misunderstand. Obviously, this would exclude the people who pose a threat, like Hidan and Gaara. I want to know who can stand up to the bullies, not who can crush them into oblivion.
I was almost stabbed the other day, and my friend came close to death. I hope that you're not so adverse to anyone else attempting to assert themselves that you mistakenly see this as some sort of attempt to gain control or leadership, because I'd like none of that. I just want things to be safer for people like myself and Kenta. So, perhaps it is a selfish request, to ask for protection from the strong, but at least it is honest and nothing compared to grasping for power or influence. A list is a tool, nothing more, an organizational aid, and there is nothing wrong with knowing where Adstringendum's meeker inhabitants stand. Wouldn't you agree?

I'm not afraid of having my voice heard. I would be glad to help.

Leadership needs to be gained through respect. A list will not do it, Ryuuzaki.

Everything you said might be true, but that doesn't mean you have to say it for all the world to hear, L.

Anybody who'd actually be willing probably already is, the best they can.
And I don't need a babysitter.
