Oh for the Love ... !! I Quit. I Mean It. I Do. Maybe.

Supernatural is unlike any show I’ve ever previously watched and I’m not too sure that I’ll ever have the opportunity to watch another like it.  Some may try and may come close, but they won’t be the same by any stretch of the imagination.

Now, I have avidly enjoyed television all my life.  When I was young, I watched CBS soap operas with my ( Read more... )

Wow. Great ramble. And that's just the prelude.

Sometimes this show feels like a roller-coaster, and sometimes it feels like a raft buffeted about in raging, rolling waters. Last night was a raft night.

I'll save my specific comments for your ramble proper . . .but in this series where most episodes have one heart-wrenching scene, without a re-watch yet I can count at least four in the one last night.

We're here with you Keeper, as always! *hugs*

Ah...great to hear the ramble again sophie_deangirl February 5 2010, 23:02:58 UTC
Good to see you back, at least for this episode. Hope the future episodes to come will keep you coming back. I've missed you! I, too, must take the weekend to absorb what happened last night. I admit it, I'm easy. Yes, there have been episodes that have irked, many more than I care to list, but like you there SO MANY MORE that have left me a puddle. Even during the most outlandishly funny, the completely irritating, and the sometimes simply incomprehensible episodes I have managed to find something that has kept me watching (and no, it's not just Jensen, though he helps. He helps ALOT! The man could recite the phone book and I would sit and listen enraptured) and I have never entertained a moment's thought to quitting the show. I always have faith that there is a reason behind even the most "what the...?" moments of the show. Despite my anger and disdain for Michael, adding him the LONG list of angels who are douchebags of which only Castiel is exempt, I know in my heart that Dean will overcome the shattering words that he heard ( ... )

First, a little something to get of my chest:

*ahem*

YOU SCARED ME LAST NIGHT!!!!!!! *hugs* Never do that again, OK?

Now that that's taken care of, I can understand the need to take a break from the intensity. Many is the time I've put down a book, become a new character in that book and go all Buffy on some fictional ass. Anxiety worked out, I return.

I hope this upcoming ramble helps clear that anxiety for you. Last night's episode gave me some things to ponder and consider writing. Which I really should have done last night instead actually going to bed.

And I hope Kripke and Sera never see this blog. Their heads would swell so big with a sense of mission accomplished, there'd be no room in them to finish the story. Which would be very, very bad.

You know, until I read this I almost completely forgot how fun it was to read your Rambles! I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to reading the full ramble next week- you always catch so many little things that I completely miss.

Take a break if you need to, but don't ever seriously consider going away. Okey dokey?
