Supernatural is unlike any show I’ve ever previously watched and I’m not too sure that I’ll ever have the opportunity to watch another like it.  Some may try and may come close, but they won’t be the same by any stretch of the imagination.

Now, I have avidly enjoyed television all my life.  When I was young, I watched CBS soap operas with my ( Read more... )

Ah...great to hear the ramble again sophie_deangirl February 5 2010, 23:02:58 UTC
Good to see you back, at least for this episode. Hope the future episodes to come will keep you coming back. I've missed you! I, too, must take the weekend to absorb what happened last night. I admit it, I'm easy. Yes, there have been episodes that have irked, many more than I care to list, but like you there SO MANY MORE that have left me a puddle. Even during the most outlandishly funny, the completely irritating, and the sometimes simply incomprehensible episodes I have managed to find something that has kept me watching (and no, it's not just Jensen, though he helps. He helps ALOT! The man could recite the phone book and I would sit and listen enraptured) and I have never entertained a moment's thought to quitting the show. I always have faith that there is a reason behind even the most "what the...?" moments of the show. Despite my anger and disdain for Michael, adding him the LONG list of angels who are douchebags of which only Castiel is exempt, I know in my heart that Dean will overcome the shattering words that he heard from his father's mouth, possessed again by something else speaking for him. He will defy it. I can see that his resolve has been severely weakened, but Dean will rise above it. So, I'm easy. I will allow myself to kid myself, to place myself in denial over what seems overwhelmingly inevitable and enjoy the episodes to come even if they drive me to drink. Dean is being SO tested and this time, unlike his time in Hell, he will overcome.

Can't wait to read your ramble. May have to cut and paste my comment in my blog. Kinda of liked it!
