Typing with your fingers crossed is somewhat tricky

The interview went well. I think. I hope. I really really hope. But since it was only my second ever job interview, and I thought the first one went well until I didn't get that job, I'm probably not the best judge of these things. Gah. Ooh straight As eh ! Very impressive ! I think if you come out of it feeling it went quite well that's usually a pretty good sign. As you seem to have plenty of mates and get on well with your folks etc you're probably quite good at picking up all the body language, tone of voice cues etc. I've only interviewed once but from my experience and talking to friends who do a bit more of it I think most times a decision is reached on an almost-first impressions basis and then justified post facto. Probably the most important question is the hoary old cliche 'why do you want this job?' If you have to stop and think about it it's probably the wrong job anyway but if you can answer with conviction and enthusiasm that goes an awful long way. But you can come very close without quite getting it. And when they say 'there were lots of good candidates' they are often telling the truth ! Anyway this is a bit of a hobby-horse of mine as I went for about twenty interviews in my last year at uni. But then I had no proper work experience apart from ( ... )

Hello! Are you back from holiday now?

The job is sales negotiating for a most fabbity estate agency at home. Have not heard back yet though *glares at evil phone*, so keep the fingers crossed a bit longer!
