FYI, I'm scrolling back through this journal and unlocking some posts, including this one... which yeah, I'd been thinking lately about writing something about clothes and the need to be taken seriously, especially after reading the stuff at Shakesville about shoes, which sounds unrelated but isn't.

Wow, I actually am such a liar. I refer of course to this post in which I promised to write about division of work in two-person households.

I just got an email from a semi-plausible address - not one I recognise, but which could easily be one of several people I know - headed "Find out who doesn't want to chat with you". Augh, uni work. I should be writing a performance commentary for Wednesday... I'd like to hand it in early, since I'll need to go to my (teaching) placement on Weds to get some signatures, after which I probably won't be able to get back before the deadline. Have I talked yet about the incredible mind block I experienced when trying to write my last essay? It was pretty bad. It wasn't something I'd encountered in that particular shape before, or perhaps that strength.
