I think it was remarkable that people are totally ignoring her inability to put words together. Sure, in this sort of spontaneous speaking situation people bobble words all the time, but she was throwing in extra words and botching all through. That, and she spoke as if she'd been sped up to 110% of life speed.
I got so sick of Palin winking at me I wanted to jump through the tv and punch her in the face. I managed to watch the whole thing, but on the whole was unimpressed. Her stupid faces and 'folksy' attitude do nothing for me.
Also, why does she keep saying "Joe Six-Pack"? Is she insinuating that middle class men all have finely sculpted abs, or a drinking problem??

Folksy and/or personable are not qualifications for POTUS or VPOTUS. Sorry everyone, we are not going to be friends and we are not going to swap spit with each other or go out for a Caribou ice tea with these candidates. /Do I seem a little cranky about the folksy/personable issue.

Forgot to say that "joe sixpack" is the new political code word for what was once called 'lunchpale democrats'. Guys who worked in a factory or on an assemblyline.

I watched the debate, and was not surprised by it. My main reaction was hoping that Obama or McCain would become immortal if they won. I was also on a bunch of drugs right after surgery while watching the debate.
