After work yesterday evening, I picked Sami up and took her to get her nose pierced.   She'd been wanting to do it for quite a while now and agreed to go talk with the piercers at High Priestess Piercing about it.   They've been helping her as she gauges up her right ear (only one... she needs to do the other one, still).   I am very impressed with

I had my nose pierced more than 22 years ago! WAAAY before it was 'the' thing to do! That makes me cool, right? Well, that, and the fact that I have a lava lamp in my kitchen....oh, oh....and the fact that I can rock some red patten leather Docs!

I cannot wait to meet you, either! Two things bode in my favor... One, we now have a gas station where unleaded runs for 2.99 a gallon. That's LESS than three bucks a gallon! OK, so it still gosts 45 bucks to fill the tank, but it sure looks better on those menacing little price signs at the station

Wow what a cool mom you are...is she even old enough to get pierced? I thought the age with parent permission was 17...that's when I got my belly ring. Maybe the law change.
I so want to get one, but I have to clear it with the job if it's ok...I would not wear it at work, but some places aren't ok with a hole. I have a feeling one of the HIs has a piercing across the top of her nose because she has two little holes up there, so maybe it's fine...
Chicken peanut soup? I have never heard of that, and I used to eat there a lot...;)
