The lounge that she lands in is luckily devoid of anyone who would be surprised by her sudden appearance. In fact, the only one around is the cat, who scrambles to get out of the way before she lands on top of him. Said cat will stare at her, oddly-red eyes huge, from underneath a nearby chair.

It says something about Ran's training that first she will check her surroundings for threats. Then, she'll assess the damage she just did to her wrist with that landing. There might be a fracture in there and there's certainly a sprain.

The cat is still watching her with mild suspicion when Kouryuu appears in the doorway, scowling as usual. Her again. He doesn't know how she, or that portal of hers, always manages to time things inconveniently, but it's practically expected by now.

"Do you ever show up anywhere on purpose, or is this just how you get around?"

Ran... flinches is the only way to put it when she sees Kouryuu. He's not exactly the same, but he's close enough to Sanzo that he hurts a little to see. "Um, no, sorry." This carpet is pretty. Ran shall stare at it now.
