my grandmother gave me a lecture on how i should look for boys who look like "gentlemen" and that when boys stay over too late at night they are compelled to do things that make them more than "friends

Grandparents are all like that. My first serious boyfriend ever, my grandma asked me if he was black. Y'know, to make sure I wasn't dating a black dude.

They're all biased, crotchety old folks. I'll change my mind when I meet one who is open-minded. Hahaha.

seriously, what happened to the benign white hair and knitting basket image? sheesh.

the other really annoying thing is that when i was dating a tall white guy she was all over that, because to chinese people, you can't get any better than white and tall ... and obviously nothing else matters.

ohhhh well. how was graduation? congratulations on everything! :)
