tv thoughts: Dollhouse 1x06 "Man on the Street"

I am super-behind on my flist because I was trying to avoid Dollhouse spoilers (and I may or may not have had a slight hangover yesterday...I think it was just the world was a little too bright...)

BUT ANYWAY! I finally watched Dollhouse

See, what I'm thinking is that it was Alpha that put that into the program. If he was the one who called Echo in "The Gray Hour," it would make sense that his reach might go even farther, like some connection to the existing system where he could insert bits into the programs on the fly. Although, I could see it maybe being Claire too.. Things have really just been amping up so much! It was a great episode. XD

And you know, if you said Fuckwit's name, I probably wouldn't know who you meant. But Fuckwit? Instant identification. :P

Yeah, faeriesfolly and I gave up on learning his name awhile ago. Here's hoping Fuckwit isn't around long enough for us to worry about his lack of real nameness haha.

Well, Agent Helo Paul asked robo-Echo if the person that reprogrammed her was the same person that gave him the photos of Caroline and she said no (not that Alpha would be above lying, but why lie to Paul?). I wouldn't be surprised if it was Claire, which would give them a reason to bump her off (I know, I don't want her to go, but they keep listing Amy Acker as a "guest star" which makes me fear for her life!)

We will see! At last, we have a real plot arc!

I was totally for Mellie being a doll too! hee, hee When they showed that they had cameras in her apartment and all, I figured that almost made it a sure thing. So no surprise there at all. =P I wonder though, was it part of her programming to erase the creepy/cryptic answering machine message after too? Or is that still on there?

Shirtless!Helo Yay! ^_^ (I can't help it, I'm still calling him Helo too. In fact, I turned to Dave and said Helo vs Faith! during the fight scene.) Dave pointed out that that scene was a lot harder to find believable without "Faith's slayer powers" though. It bothered me afterwards, cause he was kinda right, that I keep thinking of Echo as more super-human strong because of the Faith connection. meh I did rationalize it by pointing out that Paul would have been pulling his punches a lot because, as he said, he *didn't* want to hurt her. But still...

I think one of my favorite parts of this episode was the man-on-the-street interviews. Some of those were pure gold. lolz

I enjoyed shirtless!Helo. I was so concerned for Mellie though, that I forgot about it! That is the power of Joss! haha.

lol I find shirtless!Helo very distracting. I was like, wait, plot happened? What were they saying? I think there were some words I missed. =P
