I think that Someone to Watch Over Me is going on my list of favorite episodes of BSG. First, it was Kara-centric, always a plus for me. Also, it managed to catch me off guard in several ways. And you gotta love the soundtrack.
Boomer caught me off-guard, too. Hera was clearly supposed to be drugged. A conscious little girl wouldn't like being shut up in a box; Boomer had to count on a quiet Hera not to kick and scream in there.
Maybe Daniel went into hiding and changed his name... or maybe he wanted something more exotic for his stage name. ;)
I'm half-convinced that everyone's just going to blow up in the end. Maybe the Centurions will go apeshit and kill everyone except for the Final Five, who will be threatened into making more skinjobs so that the Centurions can enslave them as payback for what the skinjobs did to them.
Yeah, no one would be afraid of the Dread Pirate Daniel...
while that ending is totally fucked up, I wouldn't be surprised if they did that. Sad, but not surprised haha. There's no way it will have a super-mega-happy ending. This is not Twilight I fear for the lives of a lot of our mains.
zomg I don't know how they are still going to wrap this all up now that it's getting so down to the wire! Unless it really is going to be "rocks fall, everyone dies". o_O; It certainly isn't looking good for Galactica herself.
Dammit, I fell for Boomer too. Bad Boomer! >_< Poor Chief. And I think everyone is in agreement that what was in the sippy-cup was drugged. I totally called Hera's drawing as music notes too. =P Or at least on my second guess. My knee-jerk when Kara asked her if they were stars, I jokingly said "yeah, it's the star-chart leading to a habitable planet! lolz" until she handed it to her and I saw it better. I was like huh, that looks like... sheet music

Oh also, was it just me, or did they sneak Laura's death into the middle of all that? They were heavy foreshadowing it in bits all through the episode, and the last shot you see her hand go limp. ;_; Okay, maybe not dead, but I think she'll at best be in a hospital bed again if not. =(
We, as an audience, were so focused on the Kara/Piano Man storyline, waiting for the other shoe to drop and to have her realize that was her father, something we all knew almost immediately, that it gave the Boomer/Tyrol plot a chance to totally sideswipe us.
That's a very good point, and it certainly worked on me! Nicely played, show.
I'm pretty scared for Tyrol now, I can't see any way out of this that ends well for him. There's no way that they won't know it was him that helped Boomer. And an interesting comparison to Faith and Riley, I might be a little bit wary if she make a turnaround based on Helo's affection though. It's already happened with Athena and I'm not sure what the show would be saying if they went the same way with Boomer.
Sam needs to wake up and Starbuck needs to finally figure the rest of her destiny. And they all need to find a home.
Yes. This. And hey, look! It's almost time for them to show us what comes next. :)
