there was a post in fanthropology today about the life-sized Britney-Spears-giving-birth statue. I had assumed, as any sane person would, that the statue was a joke, something the Onion made up to get hits. Something the 'Snakes on a Plane' producers put out there to find something even more ridiculous than there movie. But no. It's real. And it scares me ( Read more... )

actually, now that you mention it, I guess it does parallel Amelie. Though Amelie just kind of decides to do it while Ed is sort of prodded into doing it...though no one makes him do it. That's what I really find interesting. He just got the card in the mail and decided he had to do it.

I definately think you should check it out of your local library ;-)
