I watched it right when it was first put up. They do a pretty good job of working on issues as well as fashion. I loved all of it except for maybe the last episode. But that's just me. All in all 4.5 stars out of 5.
I haven't got Netflix anymore but a couple of my friends were talking about it recently and they are really enjoying it, too. I did always enjoy the old series. Though I remember they tried making an Australian version at one point which never took off.
I haven't seen it, but I've heard from others who have that it's really good. It both keeps the spirit of the original while actually improving upon things such as keeping up with the times, including the awareness of certain important issues and really expanding on that. I never watched the original Queer Eye, I just knew of it because it was such a pop culture phenomenon all those years ago, so it's really impressive that with the reboot they managed to grow and evolve with the current political climate while still managing to be about fashion.
I haven't seen it, but NPR did a long interview with one of the original stars about this new reboot. He brought up a number of issues about the idea behind the show as a whole (how it perpetuates stereotypes), but said he liked elements of the reboot anyway.
I forget, do you watch Vikings? I've been marathoning that and loving it so much!
