Did you guys see there is a new Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on Netflix?
I literally turned on my tv to find something to watch with my breakfast, the trailer started to autoplay and I was like "oh my god, another reboot that is so **PLAY**"
Because while I have never been a big fan of reality TV or makeover shows, I have fond memories of watching the original Queer Eye. It felt so **edgy** at the time to be watching this ridiculous show with these somewhat stereotypical gay men running around everywhere.
I've only watched the first two episodes, but I'm really impressed with it so far. The spirit of the show is just right. And I feel like they have more insightful moments with the Straight Guy, at least in the first two, that really made me start to get a little emotional.
Plus, all of these guys are pretty easy on the eyes, even if I know they don't go my way:
And in the second episode, one of them references the original show and how to apply cologne with the "spray, delay, and walk away" and I totally remember that moment from the original show.
I stumbled upon the show so I haven't seen any commentary or responses to it yet. Has anyone else watched it?
