I've never been a fashion person. I've never really thought about clothes too much, apart from my Her Universe geeky outfits.

But now that I have discovered Torrid...dear god, hide my wallet!

They just launched a new line designed by Rebel Wilson. And I want SO MUCH OF IT (well, not the stuff with the weird koala design, that doesn't do it for ( Read more... )

Isn't it though? I'm not sure if it is too dressy for work or not...but I think the addition of the jacket makes it feel more casual so I feel like I could pull it off.

It's a pretty dress :)

In case you didn't know, Torrid is part of Full Beauty, which pulls together about 10 different clothing lines for plus sizes.

The sizing can be an issue and I find the Shopper's Club postage & returns deal to be a must given online clothes shopping has its problems. But I've found a lot of great stuff there and they have different sales offers every day.

oh cool I will look at that site. That is the one thing I like about Torrid, I know my size, there is only ONE size range. I've had pretty good luck with size 1 or size 16 in all the Torrid outfits I've tried on. But it looks like Full Beauty has some of the "older" lines that they might not have in their online shop anymore...dangerous!

I love Torrid. The stuff is made nicely too, which adds to the pluses.

Yeah, it feels like higher quality. I used to work at The Limited when I was younger and their clothes were SO cheaply made, they fell apart before they got on the rack. I was always embarrassed by how much they charged for them. But my Torrid tops and dresses (at least so far) feel well made.
