I'm extremely bored and that nap I took earlier is disallowing me to go to sleep.

School tomorrow...

So I think I will write about why I think Mulan is such an inspirational heroine (at least in the fictional world of Disney).

Lol, I can get pretty heated about some seemingly "petty" things. I once had this huge argument about Harry Potter NOT being a children's book with my English teacher and how the book draws parallels to the modern world and history and blah blah blah!

I'm surprised you didn't enjoy Mulan!

I always wondered what nationality Shan-Yu is. I'm guessing he's probably Chinese too... And he does looks insanely scary!

You know the part where Shan Yu and his crew catch these two soldiers from the army and let them go? Then Shan Yu was like, "How many soldiers does it take to send a message?" and the ugly dude with the bow&arrow said, "One."

So... he killed one of them. D: I dunno why that horrifies me so much. loool

When I'm down, or when I feel like giving up on something, I always watch this movie as a pick-me-up. I've probably seen it a few dozen times since this year started, but I can never get tired of it!

The part where the Emperor and all of China starts bowing down to Mulan ALWAYS gets me 'cause it's like, "Oh, Mulan, I knew you could do it!" and then I start feeling like I could be strong like her and achieve my goals, too! haha

OMG! FAAAVE MOMENT IN MULAN TOO! I get all teary eyed and out of breath and I'm just like, "YOU GO, GIRL!"

Lol, do you watch that movie like once a month? :P Oh well, it is a good Disney movie. :)

I do agree; Mulan is badass! I guess I just like stories that show that women can do whatever a man can do. In Mulan's case, she did even better. ;)

Did you cry when everyone bowed to her again? ;P

Now you've got me wanting to watch Disney movies, but they're all at home. :(

I watch it when I'm bored! Or in that Disney mood :) You should just bring those DVDs to your dorm! But then again.. it's a huge distraction from school. XD

I don't CRY.. I get.. teary eyed and my chest swells with emotional and I have to sigh (sometimes I even have the urge to bow down LOLOL jk)

Unfortunately they are all VHS, so I'd need a VCR to watch them. I have all the old ones that came out before DVDs existed. :P

It's amazing how a kids movie can make people teary-eyed. I'm sure a few had my eyes watering too.
