That sounds delish!

You could really omit the oil when cooking the meat, right? It'll have enough fat of its own to cook without burning.

Yes, you could, or at least use less. I've never actually measured it out, frankly.

That's what my recipe says, but I think I would use less, now that I think on it. Because the bits of meat should be scattered through the rice.
