I meant to try to watch at least one of the three shows I had left on my DVR from this past week's airings, but I ended up cleaning out some old recordings I decided I just was never going to catch up with. So long, Chuck. I'm too bored to worry about being behind by a dozen episodes and I have plenty of other shows to watch ( Read more... )

Inception made sense to me too. I didn't have any problems following along. After I saw it, I couldn't believe the amount of people freaking out over not understanding it.

I think the confusion comes in when you try to settle on one absolute result. It all felt pretty straightforward, but then you start wondering who was dreaming what, and when did that dream start. You could go as far as saying that the entire movie was Cobb's dream in limbo. Or just take it at face value and it all went according to plan.

I agree with you about Inception and District 9. I'm about to watch Being Human so I'll have to get back to you about that. ;)

I certainly don't want to demean Inception in any way. It was a really good movie. It could be possible that I've heard enough about it that I was more prepared for the presentation. Or maybe I'm just that eff'ed up that I can easily follow eff'ed up plotlines.

I went into watching it prepared to be confused, so I was trying hard to pay attention. That may have helped if you know what I mean.

As for BH - Eeeep! Nina is such a force to be reckoned with but I can't believe she called that hotline number! And Kara! That show never ceases to amaze me.

For me, Inception was definitely worth buying. I highly recommend it. It's cerebral and doesn't try to dumb things down for an audience. The effects are superb and the cast is amazing all around.

I probably should get a DIY Home-Fix-It book. But I'm pretty sure the fault with my washer is the circuit board, which kind of means I can't do anything about it.
