So... after working seven days a week, it was time to take a trip back to MT to the family and so the boyfriend could see where my gene pool starts. All in all, the trip worked out really, really well. We both had a good time, and despite the scenarios I imagined, the family was very nice to Kyle.

Ta da! The long awaited re-awakening of my livejournal. So.. I graduated with two B.S. degrees in May. The family made it out which was the best part of the entire weekend for me. But for those visually stimulated folk, here are the pictures of the day.

I should have listened to Kyle. I watched the movie "Latter Days." It really fucked with my head. Yesterday, I felt like an emotional mess, on the verge of tears at everything and anything. Kyle and I saw Spanglish last night with our friends Chris and Jen. It didn't have as much humor as you would expect from a Adam Sandler film. It was very touching. I felt drawn to the bicultural elements since I have a strong split between the identities of each side of my family. In general, Sandler transitioned well into a more serious role ( Read more... )

Today was my last final in the Roman Republic. Went ok. Had two finals yesterday in Biochemistry and Biotechnology. I know I will get an A- in Eukaryotic Molecular Genetics, but I can live with that.
