I don't watch Glee, and after reading your last paragraph, I'm very glad I don't. I suppose I AM a prude, but I fail to understand how such a portrayal of teenage life is supposed to do anything but encourage and foster teenage pregnancy.

We should be encouraging young people to wait. Whether or not you believe sex outside of marriage is wrong, at least let's teach kids that it has real meaning and shouldn't be trivialized in this way. That kind of intimacy should be saved for a very special relationship, and not thought of so casually and in such a cavalier manner.

I'm not even a month from graduating high school, have DD tits and went to a all girls school where the girls are known as easy, and am bisexual in the theory of Glee and Hollywood I should be having sex every night. I haven't had one offer. Sigh.

I think the idea of virginity is a trap as best summed up in 'The Breakfast Club' if you say you're have your a easy if you say you have you're a prude. I don't like the big deal being made out of it. But sex can't just be emotionless and cold or so someone can better play a part in a musical. It's more than just body fluids and pleasure, there is emotion too, I understand that.

I don't watch glee but people around me do, I'm more pissed off that someone outed someone else. That is terrible.

Hey I was a DD in high school too! I love you for quoting 'The Breakfast Club'!
The whole show is crazy and written by a lunatic who changes canon to better suit him whenever he wants. Normally I can look past all that, but I just can't see almost the entirety of the geeks in the glee club having had sex before high school is over.

My sister watches it, which concerns me a little.

The show is crazy, then again most American high school shows are a whole lotta crazy.

Here is why the meeting scene in Glee made sense to me, even though it probably could have been executed better. I think a lot of girls like to talk with their friends about their decisions. Rachel is so intense and out there that she doesn't have a lot of close friends. Last season her BFs seemed to be Mercedes, who is tired of her, and Kurt, who is her boyfriend's brother, so he's out. I think it ended up looking like a meeting because it's Rachel and sometimes she conducts her life like it's business. I thought Tina's perspective was really sweet since Brittany and Santana are the two typically having sex and are promiscuous. I liked that the girls were openly talking about it. It seems like when teens are portrayed having sex on tv a lot their thought process is more focused on physical preparedness (condoms, where & when it will happen, etc) than thinking about their emotional readiness. If I thought more of my teens at work were putting that much thought into life decisions, I'd be less scared for them. Yeah, Rachel and ( ... )

I should take Glee less seriously, it just hit me the wrong way. I thought that Blaine and Kurt were sweet, even though I have huge issues with Blaine's multiple personalities. I probably would have been better off just skipping that episode because I knew before I watched it that it was going to push my buttons.

P.S. I miss your face!
