dandelions and chapter nine

Mr Moth mowed yesterday. This entire room is still full of the smell of dandelions.

I wuv me some dandelions. Nothing else smells so yellow, so dandeliony, so like butter made from lion milk.

Okay, so that's a huge flight of fancy right there.  Who's going to milk a lion?

Spouse and I once tried to make dandelion wine from a recipe we found one day in the local paper. We spent over two hours crawling around the yard picking blossoms and then faithfully followed the instructions. Six months later, we had the foulest, nastiest, slimiest mess known to man. We never did figure out where we went wrong. *sigh* Maybe someday we'll try it again :)
