I just came back from a short work trip to San Francisco and Seattle. San Francisco was good. Seattle was better. Oh so much better!

Ya' know, I never did report in about my birthday trip to New Orleans. I had a solid good time but not a great time. I didn't take a single photo - but my friend took lots so I suppose some photos will appear eventually - and had some great and awful N'awlins food. I do rather like rainstorms. I think it is still a novelty to me, even after all of these years of not living in the desert of California. I liked walking under a big clear plastic umbrella in Japan watching the tiny drops of rain fall above my head and I liked sitting on my front porch watching it storm in Melbourne maybe with a drink by my side.
