I do rather like rainstorms. I think it is still a novelty to me, even after all of these years of not living in the desert of California. I liked walking under a big clear plastic umbrella in Japan watching the tiny drops of rain fall above my head and I liked sitting on my front porch watching it storm in Melbourne maybe with a drink by my side. I spent most of yesterday inside curled up in a chair with a mug of tea and my Kindle.
