Man, I seriously love OB sometimes. Well, quite a lot of times actually, but this gave me a smile and a crinkled nose today:

I've heard of cooking fish in the dishwasher. It's pretty easy (fish in foil in dishwasher)! The steak in toaster oven seems weird though... does it basically just sear the outside?

Seriously?! Fish in the dish washer. I hope he didn't use any soap. O_o

As for the toaster thing, they were talking about this and wanted to see if they could use a normal toaster. Apparently so....

Yeah, no soap! Basically, you just use the hot water of the dishwasher to steamcook the fish. It's not particularly eco-friendly but it is lazy. It's kind of like cooking on the motor of your car.

I think he qualifies as a fine example of someone who should lurk a little moar, post a little less.

I'm not fond of most fish, and dishwasher cooking does not appeal... while I can see the logistics, I can't understand "WHY!?!"
