I know! *squee!!* I've been wanting him to do something vampiric for ages and I'm just really floored and excited he's actually going to.

Yeah, Les Miz does that. A lot. "Do You Hear the People Sing?" was stuck in my head for three days straight once.
Didn't like DH, liked OotP movie. My review of the first is somewhere in my journal.
Johnny a vampire? Hm. I'm not sure whether to be excited or scared. He's playing Sweeney Todd, isn't he?

Yep, Sweeney Todd and then a vampire. Hehe. Sorry, I just have been wanting him to do something with fangs for ages and I never thought he'd actually get around to doing it, so I'm all ecstatic-like that he's actually going to. He's hitting all my areas of obsession - pirates, vampires, historical figures, musicals, lunatics, men with sharp objects in place of hands (yeah, I'm strange - it started out as a Captain Hook/Wolverine thing...)

Have a comment. XD

Harry Potter - one word: BRILLIANT! Though the epilogue was kinda eh, I'm glad that Harry got what he desired: a family.

Yeah, I agree. I think that was the main thing that was supposed to be implied by the epilogue. It was really cheesy and cliche, but at the same sort of amusing. Almost more like some random ficlet you'd read or something. lol. I think it's sort of like the after-the-credits scene in At World's End - because it's not directly part of the book, it's an add on that can be acknowledged or unacknowledged depending on how you feel at the time. But I really loved the book as a whole - especially seeing Snape's backstory. I totally guessed that already (though not to the full extent) and thought I was perhaps being melodramatic, but seeing that it is indeed how it was is really amusing.

I always kinda figured that Snape- sorry, Severus (he deserves his first name now lol) was in love or at least liked Lilly. And he loved her for basically all his life- he was the bravest man in the book.

Yes, I totally agree. And I think the one real meaningful moment in the entirety of that damn epilogue was Harry's explanation to his son about Severus. "You're named for two headmasters, one of them was a slytherin and he was the bravest man I've ever known." Don't know if that's the exact wording, but close enough.

Saw the article about JD playing Barnabas and *squeeeed* like a fangirl.

And Glory - loved her. Best insane goddess lines ever.

Haven't read HP as Amazon is of the bad.

Stuart Townsend can totally manage Voldemort.

JD as vampire - squeeeeee!

*squee* It's perfect. I've always wanted him to play a vamp and I was starting to think he never would. But yay! He has the cheekbones for it, seriously. Strange reason, but it's true.

And yeah, I agree about Stuart. He has that dark allure about him that worked for him as Lestat and I'd imagine a younger Voldemort with the same sort of thing about him.

And yeah, Glory had the best lines. And I loved the whole Ben/Glory transformation and Spike being the only one to see it at first.
"Are you all very stoned?"

And I really loved the new HP, but a lot of people didn't for reasons I don't really understand? I don't know, I'll have to find someone with a negative review and try and find logic in it. lol.

The cheekbones, the eyes, the mouth....*squeeeee*! I can understand why he turned down Interview, but Barnabas is perfect for him - here's hoping they find good writers.

Stuart will be a perfect young Voldemort.

And Spike, lord, I miss Spike. He always saw everything first.

I'm sure I'll love the new HP. I don't write in the fandom, so I have no problem following JK's imagination as my own vision doesn't get in the way, as it does with the pirates *g*

*le sigh* I love Spike - he was the best character in the whole series by a long shot and was always sold short until he got a soul, which was really rather depressing considering he always posessed more humanity than even he gave himself credit for.

And oh yes, Johnny's got 'undead' written all over him. Perfection. I understand the turn down for Anne Rice as well - he didn't particularly fit the mold of any of the characters. But this one he is going to do well with, I can tell already. *bounces*

I'm excited about that as well.

PS--It's time Depp finally took on a vampire role:)

Yes, I agree. I've always thought he'd make an amazing vampire should he decide to play one and I'm really happy he finally is :)
