If anyone has a really good memory, you might remember the blue Florentine dress, the peacock dress, I started on ages ago. Like, two or three years ago. It is for the most based on the pattern of Eleonora di Toledo's funeral dress, and partly on the crimson Pisa dress. Both were made in the early 1560s. It was nice to finally post some pics of me wearing it, I think all so far has been on the slightly too small dummy. And yes, gotta luuuv the saccoccias! They make life so much easier.

I love them. They elimate the pouches knocking me on the knees and fit so much stuff... and sometimes make a good substitute for a bumroll../.
