HELLAS 2010

Hellas (AKA Greece) 2010 was fantastic.

I found a dead cheap flight-only charter trip to the Ionian island Zákynthos. A beautiful place which I saw all too little of, because I was to meet people over at the main land AKA Peloponnese. I took ferry and bus to get from Zákynthos to Trípolis some hours away, which was a fun trip in itself.

Glad you enjoyed them! The weather has been utterly horrible in Norway this summer, so I still live on the glimpse of sun I got in Greece on this vacation... And I always want to go back, always.

You really shouldn't bring rocks back. Imagine if everyone did that! The weight of the rocks will, due to prinsciples of isostasia, cause Greece to rise and Norway to sink back into the sea, just like in the ice age.

But if everyone did it, the result would be the same, yes? ;) Like if Greeks took stones from Norway, and Norwegians took stones from Greece. We would just be swapping, hehe.
