Great drabbles. Love them both. Such great short accurate descriptions of what was happening in each scene.

Semaphore: So sad! It really was a very long time before Buffy seemed to enjoy anything at all, and even then it felt more like resignation than joy.

Cinder Block: This is just beautiful. Really fits with what we saw of Anya at this point in the show, and reminds me how much I miss her.

2 interesting insights, I really like how both your drabbles geniunely sound like thoughts from both Dawn and Anya, you've captured their voices really well! Love the very Anya-esque repetition of 'so' in the 2nd paragraph, really works well. Good job! :)

I really like them both. I loved Dawn's point of view in the first one. She definitely had some teenage attitude there and sounded true to character. In the second one, I loved Anya's evolution, her realisation that she came though her ordeal stronger and was still able to love: love Xander and the world. She'd truly become human, even though she was technically a demon again. Great job!

I love the one on Anya. It rings so true. Lovely Dawn as well, she was so confused and frustrated!
