OK, so she wasn’t technically a zombie like Mom that one time. But with all the creepy thousand-yard stares, she was close enough.
Tara, Xander and Giles were going the supportive friend route. Will was probably researching spells, her answer for everything these days. She wasn’t sure what Spike was trying, but he wasn’t having any luck either. Dawn had practically turned cartwheels trying to get her sister’s attention.
But nobody could find a way to convince Buffy that being alive again really didn’t suck.

Okay, so the world was about to end again. So the First Evil was torturing them with their innermost demons. So the house was overrun with terrified teenage girls.
So she’d been dumped at the altar. So she’d lost her calling and her best friend in one stroke.
The fact was, she’d lived out her worst nightmare. And she didn’t break. She could even look at Xander and feel some of the old tenderness still there.
Maybe this old world was worth saving again after all.
