Poor Buffy. Well, at least in some reality, she'll always have Spike - nothing can put him out of commission for long.

I really liked the first one the best. Buffy's false memories with Dawn and how that impacts her life as well as the eerie foreshadowing of that last line. Very heartfelt.

I think Buffy had so many people leave her in one way or another that Spike's insistence freaked her out. I think that had more to do with why she pushed him away than him not having a soul.

Buffy's mom was the only steadfast constant adult in her life so I think when she lost her, she lost so much more than just her mom, she lost security.

This is good, I like how Spike is conspicuously absent from this drabble list, because he sticks around, and if he dies...*crosses fingers and hopes*, he'll always come back.

Spike is the most constant male in Buffy's like, he would never leave! ( I tend to discount seasons 6 and 7 'cause I didn't like what they did with many of the characters, especially Buffy, Willow, Dawn, and Spike.)
