Took a flex day yesterday to coincide with J's day of errands and other stuff. Planned a day of shopping, haircut, movie, and apartment viewing. The day's schedule went awry from the start, but I managed to squeeze in most things. The most important one was the haircut, but unluckily, the place is closed on Thursdays! Who closes on Thursdays anyway

The place was by Broadway & Commercial. Older building but newly renovated place. the lady was nice and answered all my questions about security there. Realistically, there likely wouldn't be any problems, but I just didn't want to live on the ground floor. And it was a little far to walk to the skytrain.

Not close to B-line and I'd hate to have to rely on the 17 or the 9.
