I think my ex got our cat in the break. I haven't had the heart to ask yet, it's a fairly terrifying concept...Not that I can keep her anyhow. I miss her already, she has a habit of leaping onto the bed at all hours and crawling under the covers next to me.
It is so sweet how they show their love for us. My Opal is my potty buddy too, she figures it is a good time to have my undivided attention. On Saturday when she realized I was awake, she came dashing into the bedroom and tried to "beat" me to the bathroom to make sure she got in there with me.
She also hates closed doors between us, she will cry and scratch at the door if I go into a room without her and close it.
Serena is the one, though, who is my little shadow when I am feeling sad. She can tell. Last year I had a lot of really severe anxiety problems and she was just glued to me on those bad days.
