These places you find are nearly unimaginable for where I'm at (Portland, OR). The combination of a bizarre climate and insane real estate market has totally eradicated amazing places like this.
Many props to you for your "do not disturb" policy. Weaker people would have crumbled in the face of such beauty "there for the taking", and it is highly admirable that you did not go for that.

these photos ooze character and charm. From the photographs I could easily live there. The condition of the house looks way better than the one we are living in now. Absolutely true. The bathroom only difference here is that our bath is only two years old.
I love this house too. It really does look warm and inviting from the pictures.
