Re: Everlasting Love. I loved the bit on about 1 minute 50 with the "hugging and squeezing and kissing.." bit. I thought the timing on that was fantastic! A nice bouncy video like you said. It definitely made me smile.

Re: Try. In my limited experience music videos focused on one episode can be quite difficult but I really liked this one. The song really seemed to fit and I really liked the fast editing you used. This video actually gave me chills. I loved the episode and this video captured it really well.

I just wanna say ( no lies) that these are the two best made DW vids I've downloaded yet. You've really got a great grasp when it comes to editing the footage, and using the zoom and what-not appropriately, and your "Fathers' Day" vid in particular really took me by storm. It was just the way that it flowed so smoothly and told the story vof Rose's love for her father, then her love for the Doctor. Fantastic as he would say.

Thanks for sharing - they were brill.

*blushes* Wow, thank you so incredibly much for the lovely feedback! I'm especially grateful for your praise of "Try" as it was really the one I put the most thought/time/etc. into. I have to attribute a great deal of the fluidity of the vid though to the song. It's such a perfect fit, chronologically even, that it really guided me along when choosing clips and with what to do next. Anyway, again, thank you for taking the time to comment. I'm so very glad that you enjoyed them! :)

Yay! I'm sorry to be slow responding but dial-up will take forever to download anything, and by the time my poor wee PC has got there it seems to be gasping for breath and in desperate need of a rest. :)

Anyway, I am just so in love with these two vids! They really are magnificent. The pacing is so clever, and the way the clips fit the lyrics is wonderful - very apt and meaningful without being over-literal. Try is just such a gorgeous journey through all Rose learns about the relationships in her life in that episode, and wow, the build up to the end really made me catch my breath. And Everlasting Love had me skipping about the room with glee. I love how brilliantly you captured all the joy and jubilation there was in the Rose/Doctor relationship. Thanks so much for sharing these!

Pfft! Absolutely NO need to explain (I'm certainly not the timeliest replier as you can see =P). And the fact that you commented at all is just wonderful, especially when your words were so lovely! Oh and I totally understand the horrors of dial-up and ancient comp issues. I've been there, believe me. I'm still there to some degree actually since, even though my new comp has improved a lot of things, I haven't escaped the dial-up.

Anyway, I just wanted to say THANK YOU soo very much for your feedback! ^_^ It's makes me crazy happy to know you enjoyed them.

Yes! I'm very, very glad you thought so. I get a kick out of a perfectly/cleverly matched clip to lyric as much as the next person but I wanted to have a good sense of flow in the ( ... )

Watched Everlasting Love. (I'm saving Try for later since I haven't yet watched any DW ep and don't want to spoil me too much.) Loved it, it was definitely fun. I do have to say though that the dedication wasn't shown long enough for me to really read it.
Otherwise, good work!

Oops! Sorry about that *g*. The dedication reads "And all the lovely people at you know where for so generously sharing. Without you this vid wouldn't have been possible. Much <3, Ambrosia". Anyway, thanks for the feedback and I'm so glad you liked it! ^_^ Especially for not having seen the show yet, that's just, wow, such a compliment that it actually held your interest. So, are you waiting for it to come/re-run in your area or are you planning on downloading it? Because I mean, I could totally upload it for you. Anything to spread the love around y'know ;P.

Hold your interest? Are you kidding? If not for people doing vids I'd have no idea that the new Doctor looks so cute ;-) And because of that we started downloading (no showing here whatsoever) and already have the pilot and one or two eps, I think, but we didn't get around to watching yet. SG Atlantis kinda holds us in thrall.
Right now it seems pretty easy to get it downloaded, but if we run into a wall of un-Doctor-Who-ness I'll probably come back crying to you ;-)

And thanks again for the work.
Just finished an Hitchhiker through the Galaxy vid (TV series) and I know how much work is there in your vid.
