Try BROKE MY HEART. Father's Day is the only episode I haven't rewatched yet, because, well, ouch. It really kinda of cemented Rose for me, even when she annoys me, I think back to that ep and love her again. And, man, Rose and the Doctor! Sob. All the Rose and her Dad and Rose and the Doctor paralells and SOB. Plus, Try is one of those songs that I'm utterly in love with anyway, but cry every time I hear, so, yeah, THANKS A LOT FOR THAT, DUDE! THANKS A LOT! (But, seriously, GOD. Such an awesome vid.)

Ha, I'm such a sucker for angst. That's actually the ep I've watched the most. You have no idea how many boxes of tissue I've gone through because of that brill hour of TV. Not to mention that I literally took four or five advil over the course of making the vid because of the headaches I got from crying. Huh, I guess "sucker for angst" doesn't really cover that though does it? Maybe "masochist" is the term I'm looking for =P.

Anyway, thank muchly for commenting. I'm crazy glad to hear it kicked the crap out of your heart. Er, I mean... well, yeah, that's what I mean. 'Twas its intent after all ;).

I downloaded Everlasting Love. You're right! It did put a smile on my face. :)

I only have one critique and it's an error that 90% of vidders make (that I made back when I first began vidding): Talky Face. Talky Face is when the characters are on-screen and jaw wagging. We can't hear what they're saying so it has no narrative point for the video. Instead use some sort of reaction shot. I know, I know - some characters never. shut. up. and so talky face is sometimes in inevitable but try to avoid it when you can.

That being said: fantastic job!

Ack! I'm so very sorry for the late reply! :( I had meant to catch up on comments this past weekend but ended up going away for it at the last minute. Anyway, I'm crazy grateful for your feedback! ^_^ Especially your explanation of "Talky Face" which is something that, though I hadn't actually heard the term or really considered all that much before, I have occasionally been aware of and, I totally get what you're saying. I definitely could have cut back on it in this vid by choosing other clips, editing things a bit differently, etc. but I have to admit there's still a few spots I actually kinda like it in *g* (ie: 00:52's "I'm so glad..", 1:45's "sexual" and the following "no!", 2:03's "Rose!" ) because I feel it actually does add to the narrative in those cases. Well, assuming that the viewer has seen the clip with sound or can read lips =P. That said, as a general rule I think it's a great one and is certainly something I'm going to be more aware of in the future. As a new vidder I'm eager to learn all the "tricks" (or as many of ( ... )

Just watched you videos. They rock ! The clips really fit with the rythm and the lyrics.
I really like the scene in the elevator (when he's throwing the plastic arm ^_^) and also the hugging/kissing part in "Everlasting love". This song and Christopher eccleston'smile are really a cheer up.
And "try" was just so emotional ! I especially like the last part of this vid.
