Darling Liz - I cannot think what I did in a past life to deserve your friendship, but whatever it was, I am grateful for it. I am almost as grateful for what you say above; I can't say I recognize myself in most of it, but that doesn't make it any less meaningful to me, or any less amazing that you see it here.

See, that is just such an incredible thing to hear, for so many reasons. Inside I'm still the doormat I was as a kid, so anxious about how others felt about me that I stuffed down what there was of my own personality for years.
